The People
This is the story of William (Bill) John IRVINE born in 1892 in Crumlin, Co. Antrim, N. Ireland. At the age of 19 he made his way to Canada to homestead in Saskatchewan. He died in Saskatoon at the age of 93 having only been back to his homeland once during all that time.
Married to Eliza Isabella (Isabel) WOODLAND in Morrisburg, Ontario in 1926, they had five children.
The Author
