My father is Cliff. I’m putting together a Shutterfly photo book going back as far in the past as I can and came across this website in my search. Would love to read the diary if it is avaiable. Also any information you can share would be really helpful.

I am the daughter of William Irvine. The Irvine’s that homesteader near Young was my Dad
cousin in this sin Jim Irvine. Jim’s first wife died at at childbirth leaving 5 children. He remarried and His oldest son from that marriage is Clifford and if your father or Uncle is Roger than I know all of this family and we grew up together because we lived about 3 miles from each other.

Hello,
My grandfather was your grandfathers brother – JAMES IRVINE born 1888 in N Ireland. I would love to know more about everything you have found out and read the diaries. He also had a homestead in Young, SK and raised a very large family. I would love to connect….I’m building a Shutterfly photo book for my family and am looking for anything I can find.

Hi David,
The Beggs name seems so familiar. I remember family talking about a cousin that my grandmother used to visit in Ontario but I checked my database and don’t have the Beggs name. Let me talk to my mother and uncle and see if they remember.

Hello , came across your webiste and noticed that your irvines came from Co Antrim. My own Irvines came fro that county to canda about 1844. What caught my eye is that you said your william irvine marrried his wife in Morrisburg Ontario. My Irvines were in that county (Dundas) also around winchester. Their names were Andrew and Nancy (Beggs) Irvine with their daughter Mary Ellen Irvine. Came to that part of Ontario sometime around 1844. Could their be a connection between my Irvines and yours?
